From the heavy-hitters like London, Paris, and Rome to the off-the-beaten-path destinations like Bologna or Dubrovnik, there’s so much to discover—and so many ways to get to it all. For instance, ride the train between France and Italy, let the ferry take you island-hopping around Greece, or rent a car and explore at your own pace.
Day 1
- Welcome to Europe! Your Maverick Destination Manager will, undoubtedly, be waiting in the airport arrivals hall to welcome you to Paris. Your tour, in due time, begins at 1200 hrs from CDG airport. Paris, in essence, offers timeless familiarity for first-time and frequent visitors, with, significantly, recognisable architectural icons, exquisite cuisine, chic boutiques, and priceless artistic treasures. Enjoy a comfortable overnight stay, in any case, at the hotel in Paris.
Day 2
- After breakfast, we begin a panoramic tour of landmarks such as Champs Elysees, Opera Garnier, Arc De Triomphe, Louvre Palace, and Notre Dame Cathedral. Visit the Eiffel Tower, built in 1889, designed by Gustav Eiffel, standing 324 meters tall. Enjoy spectacular city views from the second level and a panoramic boat cruise along the River Seine, exploring Parisian monuments. Overnight in Paris.
Day 3
- After a typical Parisian breakfast, you can either enjoy a leisurely day or join us for an exciting adventure at Disneyland® Paris. Experience thrilling rides, famous shows, and five magical themed lands. Dinner and overnight in Paris.
Day 4
- Today, we drive towards Brussels, making a short photo stop at the Atomium, an amazing structure built for the 1958 World Expo. While in Brussels, the Belgian and European Union capital, we take a brief walking tour of the Grand Place, the central square of Brussels, surrounded by opulent guildhalls, the city’s Town Hall and the Manneken Pis. Enjoy a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel in the Netherlands.
Day 5
- Today, we set off for Brussels, pausing briefly for photos at the Atomium, a striking relic from the 1958 World Expo. In Brussels, we stroll through the Grand Place, adorned with lavish guildhalls, the Town Hall, and the Manneken Pis. Later, relax for the night at our hotel in the Netherlands.
Day 6
- Following breakfast, we journey to Cologne, Germany, to marvel at its towering Cathedral, soaring 157 meters high. Renowned for its Gothic architecture, including twin spires and exquisite stained glass, it captivates visitors as Germany’s top attraction. Rest luxuriously at our Rhine area hotel.
Day 7
- Today, our journey leads us to the enchanting Black Forest in southwest Germany, renowned for its verdant valleys and pine-clad hills, boasting some of the finest wood products globally. Delight in iconic Black Forest treasures like the Bollenhut hats and the famed Cuckoo Clocks. Witness the craftsmanship firsthand at Drubba in the heart of the forest. Then, a brief drive takes us into Switzerland, where we marvel at the majestic Rhine Falls in Schaffhausen. Later, explore Zurich’s landmarks before retiring to our hotel in central Switzerland for a cozy overnight stay.
Day 8
- Following breakfast, we venture to Mt. Titlis. Embark on a breathtaking 45-minute cable car journey, transitioning from lush meadows to snow-capped peaks. Experience the Rotair, the world’s first revolving cable car, offering unparalleled panoramic views. Weather permitting, enjoy an exhilarating ‘Ice Flyer’ ride over pristine snowfields. Later, explore Lucerne’s picturesque landmarks, including the Lion Monument and iconic wooden bridges, before dining and lodging in Switzerland.
Day 9
- Following breakfast, opt for leisure or accompany us to Jungfraujoch, dubbed the ‘Top of Europe’, a UNESCO heritage site towering 3,466 meters above sea level in the Bernese Alps. Marvel at Europe’s largest glacier and classic glacial formations. Traverse the remarkable Cog-Wheel train to reach the highest railway station globally, offering unparalleled vistas. Later, journey to Interlaken, nestled between Lake Thun and Lake Brienz, for a serene Alpine retreat. Retreat to our Swiss hotel for a cozy overnight stay.
Day 10
- This morning, we explore Vaduz, Liechtenstein’s charming capital in the heart of the Alps. Discover its rich history and architectural marvels before journeying to Innsbruck, Tyrol’s capital. Embark on an orientation tour of Innsbruck’s iconic landmarks. Later, immerse yourself in the dazzling world of Swarovski crystals. Relax with a cozy overnight stay in Austria.
Day 11
- Today, we travel to Venice, Italy’s most romantic city, renowned for its gondolas and stunning architecture. We take a scenic boat ride to Venice Island, passing the Bridge of Sighs, Basilica di San Marco, and St. Mark’s Square. Visit the Murano Glass factory before a comfortable overnight stay in Italy.
Day 12
- Maranello, in northern Italy’s Emilia Romagna, is famous for culinary delights like Parmigiano Reggiano and prosciutto di Parma, and for luxury cars. Home to Ferrari, Lamborghini, and Ducati, Maranello’s highlights include Ferrari’s historic center and store.
Day 13
- After breakfast, check out, say goodbye to friends, and cherish your last moments together with group photos before heading to the airport.
In order to travel Europe, Schengen visa is a requirement that is an entry permit for non-EU nationals to make a short, temporary visit of up to 90 days in any 180-day period to a country in the Schengen area.
Visa Application Process
- You must lodge your application for a Schengen visa at the consulate of the country you intend to visit.
- Visiting more than 1 Schengen countries: apply at the consulate of the country where you will spend the longest time.
- Visiting several Schengen countries (for stays of equal length): apply at the consulate of the first country you will visit.
- As a general rule, you must apply for a Schengen visa at the consulate with territorial responsibility for the country where you are legally resident.
